Our talks will not just be limited to these categories. We will discuss what is your way of enjoying this hobby, bashing or racing. A place for show and tell, post pics of your pride and joys and tell us about them.
So let us have some fun. One of the great things about this hobby is that it is for any one that is interested. Just that you enjoy the same hobby as I do. One thing for every one to remember - THIS IS A FAMILY PLACE - so let us keep it that way.
After many years of watching from afar, there were many different things that drew me into the hobby. It is like owning a race car. Yes it is some scale 1/18th to 1/5th and many variances in between. Yes we can set them up just like a race car to handle all different conditions. There is all kinds of maintenance that has to be done after each day of racing or bashing.
For those of you that are wondering what in the world bashing is. Bashing is just going out and having fun where ever. Depending on your type of truck or car, it could be a large packing lot, construction site or empty lot. Just always remember to get permission to use private property. Also respect your neighbors. Nitro cars and trucks can be very noisy. You do not want to have conversations with the local law enforcement or mad neighbors.
Where RC racing is an organized event. Races being held on some type of track either dirt, pavement or carpet. The style of racing depends on the kind of car you have it could be road course, oval or straight line.
